Scan the box. See what's inside.

Stash It is a household inventory keyed by barcode: the attic, the basement and the garage, finally searchable.

  1. Scan the box

Every storage box gets a barcode: the one it already carries, or any label you stick on. One scan and the app knows which box it is looking at.

  2. Photograph the contents

Before the lid closes, take a few photos of what goes in. That is the whole inventory: no lists to type, no naming every cable.

  3. Find it without opening anything

Next time you scan, the photos come straight up. Search works too: boxes, labels and tags, from one field on the home screen.

The home screen: a wall of contents photos, each captioned with its box code, over a dark background.

A single box: the contents photo large at the top, its barcode and label beneath, and the rest of its photos in a grid.

The scanner: a taped cardboard box with a barcode label, framed by four amber corner brackets, under the hint to aim at the barcode on the box.

Your stuff stays your business.

Everything lives on the phone: the photos, the barcodes, the notes. No account to create, no cloud to trust, no analytics watching what you keep in the attic. Family sharing is on the roadmap, and it will be opt-in when it comes.

Want to try it before everyone else?

Stash It is in the lab: built, running, and being tested on our own garages first. If you want a build before it reaches a store, say so, and when a slot opens you will get one.
