Under wraps
A pile of gold bars - the only preview for now.

Aureum

As the name suggests, something about gold. Our biggest and most mature project. Yes, it's BIG - takes time to polish it well. More when it's ready.

Beta
Phalanx on a phone: the live tactical map, with the squad roster and comms either side.

Phalanx

A live tactical map for airsoft and milsim games, built for players who take the field seriously.

Stash It's home screen: a photo wall of boxes, each tile captioned with its barcode.

Stash It

Household inventory keyed by barcode: scan a box and see what's inside, without opening anything.

  1. Understand

We start where the problem actually lives: what it costs today, who feels it, and what finished looks like. A handful of pointed questions, and a look at the system you already have, gets us further than a week of workshops.

  2. Build in the open

From the first week there is something you can open and click, running on real infrastructure rather than in a slide. You keep setting the direction, and we keep the thing deployable the whole way through.

  3. Run and scale it

Going live is the middle of the job, not the end of it. We instrument what we ship, watch how it behaves under real load, fix what the graphs complain about and scale the parts that earn it. Or you take it in house, with the keys, the runbook and a system somebody else can actually operate.

We build it, we test it, we keep it running.

Sky Labs is a small team in Bulgaria, and the work is the whole stack: the integrations, the pipelines and the plumbing that turn a business process into software people actually use, plus the products that ride on top of them. Nothing gets handed over a wall here - whoever designs a thing builds it, tests it, and answers for it at two in the morning. The biggest thing we run is still under wraps - but it works around the clock, and it stays up because we watch it.

Got an idea? We know how to build it.

Between our own releases there is room for a small number of outside projects. The interesting ones are usually systems rather than screens: a platform to build from scratch, an integration nobody wants to own, a pipeline that has outgrown the machine it started on, a process still done by hand that should have been software years ago, or a product that works but not at the traffic it now gets.

Go, Java, Python, Postgres, Mongo, someone else's cloud or a box in a rack: the task picks the tools, and we have never been loyal to a stack. Time and materials or a fixed scope, either works. Send the short version to our inbox, even if it is still just an idea that wants a reality check, and you will get an honest read back: whether we are the right people for it, and what we would do first.
